Re: Ver5.2 annonced on 11/17/15 as “available to the public”

.. while Ver4.0e has been rock-solid on my Win7/64 workstation the new version is not behaving. Most notable “My Assets” spins endlessly while returning NO Assets. Also after sucessfully logging-in the forging indicator is notably missing and my Chrome JNode Error Checker keeps popping-up the following error:
    nrs.js
    Uncaught TypeError
    NRS.updateForgingStatus is not a function

I’m updated to the latest version of Java 8 build 66. The update from Ver4.0e when smoothly, in about an hour, and having left that client and data intact I can switch back to Ver4.0e with no problem.

Lastly, my “Peers” display shows only 2 of 20 peers having been updated to Ver5.2 with all but 1 of the rest on Ver4.0e so I’m wondering if others are having similar issues and like me decided to stay put on Ver4.0e for the time-being. Hopefully this will get worked-out before the fork at block 515000 – Thanks Altsheets for the Countdown Reminder.

Turns-out I had downloaded “hz-v5.2-node” not the prescribed “hz-5.2” where I found the “node” ver. hobbled the forging status/control while throwing java errors locally. So for me “hz-5.2” (exe and zip) runs great on IE11, and while forging status/control work fine on Chrome I’m sill having trouble listing assets using Chrome (although I’ve observed Chrome and IE work well on the public web wallet suggested by MaWo).

As posted here (along w/MaWo stern advisory to upgrade before block 515000)
